No other jobsite saw offers adjustments this fast and simple. The unique one‑turn elevation system allows you to set blade height with a single rotation, while the intuitive tilt mechanism makes bevel adjustments quick and precise, including fine micro‑adjustments when accuracy matters most.

Inspired by design of the T‑style fence on our Cabinet Saw, the Jobsite Saw fence system locks securely and stays exactly where you set it—whether at 200 mm or the full 640 mm rip capacity. The extended table remains rigid under load, supporting workpieces with minimal deflection, while the smooth fence face and clever flip‑out support enhance ease of use.

Does activation damage the saw?
SawStop saws are designed to absorb the force of activation and are not damaged by it.
Can I replace the brake cartridge myself?
Yes, replacing the brake cartridge can be done by the user. We provide instructional videos and manuals on our website to guide you through the process.
Can the blade be reused if the safety system brake is activated?
When the safety system activates, it will sometimes damage one or more teeth on the blade. Some users discard and replace the blade, while others choose to have their blades inspected/repaired by a qualified specialist.
Will cutting green or ‘wet’ wood activate the SawStop safety system?
SawStop saws cut most wet wood without a problem. However, if the wood is very green or wet (for example, wet enough to spray a mist when cutting), or if the wood is both wet and pressure treated, then the wood may be sufficiently conductive to activate the brake. If you are unsure whether the material you need to cut is conductive, you can make test cuts using Bypass Mode to determine if it will activate the safety system’s brake. The red light on the control box will flash to indicate conductivity. If the material is conductive, you can choose to operate the saw in Bypass Mode which will disengage the saw’s safety system’s brake feature and allow you to continue cutting the material.

Brake Cartridge for 254mm / 10" blades
Brake Cartridges: SawStop’s brake cartridges provide groundbreaking safety by stopping the blade within milliseconds of detecting skin contact. The Standard Brake Cartridge is compatible with 254 mm (10") blades. It’s a good idea to keep an extra brake cartridge on-hand in case of a contact event. Simply replace the blade and cartridge and you’re back to work.
